Caitlin Taylor

Children & Family Ministries Coordinator

Caitlin Taylor became our first Children & Family Ministries Coordinator in July 2019. God has placed a strong calling on her heart to work with children and to use education as an avenue for declaring the Gospel and making disciples. Caitlin’s role at Coats Baptist includes ministry to children and their families as we believe God has tasked parents with being the primary disciple-makers in the home. The role of the church is to support, equip, and encourage along the way.

Pursuing a career in education, Caitlin received a B.S. in Elementary Education from Averett University in 2016. She then taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades at Stories Creek Elementary in her hometown of Roxboro, NC. Caitlin is currently a graduate student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary pursing an M.A. in Intercultural Studies. In addition to having a heart for reaching children, she has a heart for reaching the nations. Caitlin has participated in international mission trips to Canada, Peru, Southeast Asia, and England.

Caitlin is married to her longtime best friend, Daniel Taylor. She and Daniel are thankful for the many ways God is showing His faithfulness to them in this new season of life together at Coats. This includes their newest addition to the family: Jethro James Taylor! In her free time, Caitlin enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, and reading.
