Finding Community in College

When college students leave home, they often find themselves in a place of discovery: What do I actually believe, and why? We help young adults own their faith and apply it throughout their growing independence.

Whether you’re a student at Campbell, at a nearby community college, or across the country, Coats Baptist loves you and want you to know you belong here. Join us for worship, classes, small groups, conferences, and serving opportunities—both at Coats and out in the community and world.

Core Values

  1. We will offer you community and a place to belong – a home away from home.
  2. We will teach the Word and not avoid asking or answering difficult questions.
  3. We will equip you with the tools to reach your campus with the Gospel.
  4. We will recognize you as a part of the church – you can serve, grow, and worship here – and then we will send you to continue to do the same wherever the Lord takes you when you graduate.
